Liz Dailey McManus represents and works on matters for oil and gas, energy, industrial, and commercial clients in all phases of administrative and regulatory proceedings, alternative dispute resolution, and civil litigation. Her experience includes work for clients involved with oil and gas exploration and development, gas transmission, pesticide application, liquefied natural gas (LNG), cement production, mining operations, and solid and hazardous waste disposal. Her representation and work on behalf of these clients regularly requires her to meet with and appear before various administrative agencies, including the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation and Public Service Commission, and New York State and federal courts. Liz has also represented insurance carriers and telecommunications companies in mediation and arbitration proceedings and in actions in New York State and federal courts. Liz has extensive experience with the New York State Coastal Management Program, and has prepared Coastal Zone Consistency Determinations for projects proposed along the Hudson River and in Long Island Sound. She frequently reviews and assists in the preparation of clients’ permit applications and other submissions to New York State and federal administrative agencies to verify compliance with applicable statutes and regulations. Liz has also represented clients in commercial disputes, including multiple arbitrations and litigations involving insurance contract enforcement and interpretation.
