Chanda Steinberg is a seasoned legal professional who brings nearly two decades of comprehensive experience to The West Firm. Over the course of her career, she has advised clients across a wide range of industries, delivering impactful legal and compliance solutions in both private practice and senior in-house counsel roles. Immediately prior to joining the firm in 2024, she served as Deputy General Counsel at a U.S. Department of Energy National Laboratory, where she provided counsel on regulatory compliance, contract negotiation, employment matters, national security, and litigation. She has also held senior leadership positions in healthcare and life sciences, serving as Chief Compliance and Legal Officer at Burn & Reconstructive Centers of America and as General Counsel at Induction Therapies, LLC, where she built and managed legal, quality assurance, and human resources functions.

Before transitioning into executive in-house positions, Chanda practiced as a litigator with a focus on civil matters and child advocacy, where she gained valuable courtroom experience and a client-centered perspective. Throughout her career, she has developed and overseen compliance programs, managed complex employment and healthcare law issues, and negotiated a wide variety of contracts in heavily regulated industries. Licensed to practice law in Kentucky, Indiana, and Georgia, with admission pending in New York, Chanda combines her broad legal background with practical business insight. She also remains active in her community, serving on the Board of Directors for the Aiken Steeplechase Association.
