Gregory A. Mountain, Managing Partner at The West Firm, has been with the firm since 2008 and leads clients through complex legal matters across corporate, energy, and real estate sectors. His practice spans mergers and acquisitions, land use development, zoning, eminent domain proceedings, tax certiorari cases, and high-stakes commercial litigation. Greg is widely experienced in renewable energy projects and has advised on matters involving hydroelectric power, solar energy, and corporate transactions. He has appeared before the New York State Public Service Commission, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, and numerous local municipalities, guiding clients through compliance, licensing, and negotiation processes that are often critical to project success.
In addition to his transactional work, Greg has significant experience in litigation and dispute resolution. He has represented clients in New York State Courts on real property disputes, government agency challenges, and commercial conflicts, as well as before federal and administrative tribunals.
