S. David Devaprasad is Of Counsel at The West Firm. His practice includes Environmental Law, Land Use and Zoning, Litigation, Business, and Real Estate. He previously served as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of New York, where he represented the Department of Environmental Conservation and the New York Environmental Protection and Spill Compensation Fund in petroleum and environmental matters. In private practice, he has represented individuals, businesses, insurers, municipalities, and multi-national corporations in both routine and complex matters.

David is admitted to practice law in the following jurisdictions:

  • State of New York (1993);

  • United States District Court for the Northern District of New York;

  • United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York;

  • United States District Court for the Southern District of New York; and

  • United States District Court for the Western District of New York.

In addition, David is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Albany County Bar Association.  He is also a board member and Secretary of Bethlehem Youth Hockey, a member of the Town of Bethlehem Zoning Board of Appeals, and.a member of the Staff Parish Relations Team of First United Methodist Church of Delmar.
